HIS LIFE

Venerable Achok Rinpoche has been teaching in Nyack since 2005.  Rinpoche has been laying the foundation of dharma to help develop the highest form of loving kindness, compassion and wisdom.

Our Venerable Achok Rinpoche was born in eastern India in 1976.  While in his 6th month of schooling at the Benjamin Nursery School in Kalimpong, West Bengal, Achok Rinpoche was recognized as the 4th incarnation of Achok Rinpoche of Lithang,

Tibet by Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang,

the junior tutor to

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
